Poetry, At Last

Audrey Stanley captures a wide range of subjects in verse and captures the reader with the vividness of her powers of expression. Some of these poems have been previously published and some are entirely new. They reflect the breadth of Audrey’s interests, which range across the globe and across time, taking in everything from Old Testament stories to the world of the Internet. In ‘Rapid Rap’, Audrey embraces a thoroughly modern mode of expression, but whether in rapping rhythms or pentameters she always has something meaningful to impart and finds striking ways to say exactly what she wants to convey.
