Pinkita the Wonder Doll

This story revolves around three young girls, one of them belonging to the lower economic level, and how a chance interaction between them changes the life of the poor girl, giving her a lifetimes opportunity to get education in a school. The role of the doll Pinkita becomes a linking factor in the course of events that follow as the story unfolds. The plight of the underprivileged girl child has been handled with sensitivity to make the privileged ones aware of the plight of the former and develop a sympathetic attitude toward them. This is the underlying message of the story .
