Though this book narrates the story of an armed movement by ascetics and common farmers of India against East India Company rule, yet it does not corresponds to a particular date and place but beautifully portrays the love between two souls, endless, unceasing and beyond time. It is a touching story of an idealistic boy and his orphan wifes life struggle. How they lived every instance of their life full of love and enthusiasm without forgetting their responsibility for their motherland and countrymen going through struggle for freedom. The lead of the story Mohan brings up his baby wife with a mothers care and a fathers affection, giving her every ounce of happiness, love, freedom and Rights very human being deserves. He successfully plays the role of a friend, sibling, and parents altogether. Writer has educated the young girls about certain sensitive issues through Mohan that neither parents nor teachers dare to discuss with grown up children.
