The veils are thinning and she must seal the rifts to heal the veils, but when she comes across Kory Shaw about to be sacrificed in a dark ritual. She couldnt just leave him to the brutal fate. Her instinct had urged her to save him. Kory Shaw was investigating reports of suspected ritualistic activities taking place in the ancient burial grounds that were sacred to his native people. He vowed to find and put an end to what or whoever was responsible for the ritual sacrifices, but as he knelt down to examine the disturbed ground he was hit over the head and knocked unconscious and became the next candidate. Just before the knife could plunge into his heart a brisk cold wind sprang to life and he found himself in an unfamiliar world of magic, war and chaos. Where he soon discovers there is more to Kory Shaw then even he knew about. Along his way he is joined with persons who all have a common goal.
