His Will, His Word, His Grace We come as sinners, dead in our trespasses, with no excuses and nothing to say until drawn by the Father. As sinners we were devoted to this world and our free will; however, it is in Gods free grace that we find freedom in Jesus Christ. Flesh or spirit, our will cannot give life. The regeneration of a lost soul is traumaticnot something born of man, but of God. Many religious people speak of a mans responsibility to God as a work of man. Loving God is not work, but rather joy for His children. Every born-again Christian must come to understand that we come to Jesus by the Word of God: So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). It is Gods words, not mans, that save by His grace through faith. As hard as Paul tried to resist Jesus, he came as do all those chosen by God.
