Selina of Sussex

With realistic imagination woven around true facts and through the eyes of his grandfathers grandmother, the author leads us back into Sussex country life in the nineteenth century. Selina, from the village of Ripe, marries Eli, a young farmer who receives a call to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Her strong and capable support whilst bringing up fourteen children enables her husband to enlarge his farming activities whilst pursuing his lifes work as preacher and Baptist pastor. Selina reveals her struggles and fears as she carries the family, the farm and in many ways her husband too.
