This book of poems is a mixture of Shakespearean sonnets, haiku, and other types of poetry. Although they have the form of a particular style (e.g. Shakespearean) they do not necessarily have fourteen syllables in each line. In addition, these poems tell a story. It is about love, love lost, pain, and passion. Many of them are confessional and emotional, but it is also my hope they are universal and transcendental to the extent that some of them will resonate with some readers who have experienced or experiencing these types of feeling and emotions. To that end, they are to reassure the reader, he/she is not alone.
