The Magic Book of Answers

When Colin finds an old leather book with a red stone in the woods, a new world opens to him. At first the books pages are blank to Colins disappointment, but once he starts asking questions, writing appears on the pages and tells him the Books story and how Mystero stole it from his original master Aristo. Meanwhile, Mystero is desperate to get his hands on that book and sends his familiar, Gorgo to search for it. Snoop! Snoop! He tells him- Someone is bound to have and use its power. Gorgo is basically a good sort and misses his old master Aristo very much, but he is also terrified of Mystero, so it takes him a while to decide which side to join: good or evil. He is helped by a vision of Aristo reminding him to look into his heart.
