This prince was rich. He wore the finest clothes, and his kingdom stretched as far as the eye could see. He thought he had no need of anything. Well he did, right until a strange old man showed up. This old man told the prince about the great king across the sea, who gives without merit whenever there is need. He told the prince that, in reality, he was blind, naked, and poor, and unless he ventured out to see this king, his wealth, his clothes, and his kingdom amounted to nothing.

With a fierce pride, the prince ignored the old man. He ventured out to hunt only to find himself lost in the great kings woods. There, he found himself lost, blind, alone, cold, and hungry. But he remembered the old mans words. He began to learn the true cost of wealth, the value of learning to see, and what it means to be truly clothed. And he also began to learn of the goodness of the great king across the sea.
