As for the days of our life, they contain seventy years, or if due to strength, eighty years, yet their pride is but labor and sorrow; for soon it is gone and we fly away (Ps. 90:10). What? At death, the believer flies away? What does this mean? How does it happen? Does he or she sprout wings? Or does the departing soul obtain some kind of jet pack, which enables a swooshing, rapid upturn like a departing jet? Perhaps the Lord sends some kind of heavenly chariot to whisk us away like Elijah? How do Christians fly away?
