In the Government City emotions were blocked in order to ensure a better future for humankind. Everything and everybody is perfect— or at least that’s how it should be. Where there are humans, there are mistakes and sometimes you’re so unlucky that the mistake that was made is you. That’s what Aliana L. Keenan believed. She had her life planned out, she knew where her life began and how it was going to end. However, all that changed when Samirah, her fraternal twin sister, left. Heartbroken by her sister’s loss, Aliana decides to leave the Government, leaving behind all that she had ever known.
