Texas's Criminal Justice System

This book looks at the many facets of the Texas Criminal Justice System:  law enforcement, criminal law, courts (including specialty courts), corrections, and juvenile justice, as well as issues dealing with border security, death penalty, and crime victims.The chapter format begins with a presentation of the chapter outline (headings and subheadings) and “Learning Objectives,” a series of objectives that students should be able to master upon completion of reading the chapter. Each chapter also includes a list of key terms, review questions, selected Internet sites, and references.
