Paraclete the Advocate

When Jesus ascended to heaven to be on the right side of the Father, He left believers a comforter or an advocate called the Paracleteor the Holy Spiritto act in defense against the wiles of Satan. In Paraclete the Advocate, author Lonnie D. Mills looks to the Word of God to show that salvation is received by grace through faith in Jesus Christs atonement, which will eventually lead to a heavenly eternal life. As Jesus was ascending to heaven, He made a difficult command to his disciples that he wanted them to be witnesses for him throughout the world, and he said they would be able to do this when the power of the Holy Spirit had come upon them.
