The First and Ten Mentoring Program is based on a football metaphor that is infused into the academic and social setting. It encourages and empowers students to collaborate through a team effort. This unique program helps build self-esteem, especially with African American Males and other youth experiencing challenges. It is an activity that can be utilized in the classroom by teachers.
