This book is intended to inform the reader on the most basic of levels about financial literacy. Oftentimes in life, we blame the material for being outdated but not the presenter. The goal is to connect the financial world and the inner city by giving guides and examples. Hopefully, reading this type of book will spark something and allow those creative juices that you have upstairs to start flowing. Finances are like tools. Each job requires a different one, with a few exceptions that allow one tool to fix multiple projects. Some financial information could be considered the exception, but that does not apply to all. As a millennial, taking the same path that a baby boomer took to gain financial independence probably wouldn’t work for you. The truth is, times are different. Most information from 1980 will not be beneficial to you in 2018.
