I Choose the Best Room

This is a book about a promise. A promise which gives birth to hope, and opens the door into a journey of faith - until that which has been promised is finally received. It is also my story - the adventures, experiences and journey of a simple man, traced from childhood to the present. I am Marvin Stovell aka ‘Geneman’. The title of this book is very special to me because they are words from an extremely powerful, life changing, prophetic dream I had on October 27th, 2006. What follows here is centered around key parts of that particular dream, as I trace its unfolding in my life over time. This may be my first book, but it is not the first time I have put words to paper. I’m also a recording artist, known in the world of Gospel Reggae as “Geneman” (pronounced – jen-uh-man). It originates from the first Book of the Bible – Genesis, and it means “A man of new beginnings in Christ Jesus”. It also links to this scripture: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new is come”. (2 Corinthians 5:17) My greatest desire is that through this book many will accept Jesus Christ as Saviour, Lord and King, and through Him begin to live a life of true abundance. And when that journey comes to an end – receive a rich welcome into His Eternal Kingdom of Heaven. (2 Peter 1:11)
