Your Christian Vocation encourages teens to prepare for a state of life of be it in marriage, ordination (for men), the consecrated life, or a committed single life. The text offers strategies for living a holy and Christian life as a lay person in the Church right now as they discern, prepare for, and commit to a later permanent vocation. The text shares a radical approach by today's standards; for example a commitment to dating for discerning a marriage partner rather than dating for entertainment and for a willingness to be open to Christ's callings to a religious life. The text is intended primarily for eleventh or twelfth graders enrolled in a one-semester course in a Catholic high school.
