Raising leaders who serve where they are, with what they have. Home Grown Leaders aims at providing an approach fro the development of Christian leaders whether they be small group leaders, supervisors of multiple small groups or pastors. It relies on both a biblical foundation and contemporary leadership theology. It seeks to introduce both well-informed lay leaders as well as pastors to the process of developing Christian leaders in context. This book was used to inform leadership trainers at several levels in different parts of the world. Youth With a Mission (YWAM) used it in it's leadership development for Europe, the Middle East, and Australia. Christian colleges and seminaries used it to help equip pastors for laying training in diverse places such as England, Kenya, Taiwan, Korea, and the United States.
