In Write-Off, Author Leah J. Salisbury introduces us for the first time to Claire Phillips, a forty-ish businesswoman and accounting manager from a large New England city, who moves with her chronically ill husband to a small Vermont town. It is here, in Dayville, Vermont, that Claire’s moral values and ethics are turned upside down with the onslaught of her predecessor’s mysterious disappearance and the several subsequent murders of friends and co-workers.
