A once frightened little girl of cats learns of her courage when a helpless kitten is placed in her life. The poor little kitten was too terrified to seek safety. In a strange environment, with no place to run, the kitten was paralyzed with fear. Knowing what fear was like the little girl is put to the test of that fear. It may have been a stressful moment for both had the little girl still had her fear of cats. She overcomes that fear and it’s replaced with compassion for the kitten who is frightened and needs help. The kitten seems to have trust in the little girl. The little girl and the kitten learn early on what trust is. What was once known as a fear of cats became a sense of trust and compassion to this kitten.
