This is a story of four young cave-dwellers, two boys and two girls growing up in the dinosaur era. Their lives are one of pleasure as they play together, also one of terror trying to avoid the monstrous, carnivorous Tyrannosaurus Rex and other threatening reptiles. Sadness enters their lives when a strange whirring object lands from the sky and monsters take their two babies. A second time of sadness is when later the monsters kill three of their parents and taking the other parent with many of the cave-dwellers into its mouth. Fire spitting from underneath it, the object vanishes skyward. Many times the monster comes back, each time the four cave-dwellers cunningly hide themselves. The four watching angrily as many of the tribes are taken into its mouth. Time passing, the four cave-dwellers hearing the familiar sound, looking up at the sudden bright sky knew it was the thing coming back. It captures the girls. The boys try rescuing the girls but are captured themselves The boys learn from the young escapees about their captivity in the space ship, and about the leader's mission to find the way back to his own time, many Millennium into the future. Sight of the ignorant unsuspecting caved-dwellers hunched under the large glass dome and the flashes of bright colours as the robot pulled the lever, the ignorant cave-dwellers incinerating to ashes, encourages the cave-dwellers to plan an escape. Their plan discovered, and with the girls and several young conspirators, they are asked. "Join with us and I will spare your lives. Refuse and you all die." Brandenella's brave words of, "Kill us, us no care." decides their fate. Placed on the platform, the cave-dwellers bravely holding each other’s hands the large dome slowly descends over them clicking loudly into place. The heavy lever viciously pulled down, bright loud crackling flashes racing around the platform, Brendenella's final vision is seeing the leader on fire and screaming as he races toward the door.
