Frank’s Special Friend

Frank’s Special Friend is a story about a young boy and his experience on one Friday. I have used several words starting with Fr for continuity and learning this sound. There are animals and people in the story which reflects special friends in a child’s life. The story focuses on feelings and I believe that children need to be aware of how we can react to different situations. Frank spends time walking to and from school, time in the classroom and time in the playground. His normal routine which is important to him is disrupted by a number of changes. I believe children will relate to his difficult day as he encounters many challenges. However, the story has a happy ending when Frank arrives home.
