It is the year 2020, and the world has become a place run by a socialist/corporatist government. The preceding ten years brought about large changes in America, and the world as laws were passed that enabled the government to take total control of people’s lives. Hunting, sports, eating real food, and everything else of our current world has been banned or outlawed. Only the few that fled the change still live the life that the forefathers of America sought. Into this comes Jon Smith, a man who fled and went off the grid ten years prior. In the new world, he and his son live a life of freedom along with two hundred or so other folk in the valley. It is a story of struggle, reunion, and conflict as the New Government finds that they cannot let Jon and his people remain free. It is a decision of whether to live a life of freedom and die or acquiesce.
