A Red Rose is a historical novel of three young Swedish girls' journey to adulthood at the outset of WWII and of those who cross their paths. This romantic adventure story focuses on Annika Bengtson, her flamboyant, womanizing, husband, Kurt Nobel and their twin sons Alex and Axel. Billy Jones was a British sailor when he first set his eyes on Annika at the Swedish folk park , Liseberg. Billy could never forget Annika even as he grew his industrial empire; nor could he leave her destiny to chance. The journey brings the readers to New York, Wisconsin, Seattle, and Fairbanks Alaska. The story also follows the adventures of King Alibassi from the fictional emirate of Jodassy, and readers discover how Axel and Alex inherit an empire and fourteen wives.
