Finding Betty is a memoir of Helen Stanley's life from the day she married to her divorce spanning 23 years. The chapters take you through a process of events that gradually and unknowing lead her down a path to suicide. The book explains her feelings as each tragic event unfolded and how she dealt or didn't deal with it and how it brought her one step closer to suicide. The strength that Helen felt and the friends, family and situations that she surrounded herself with helped her to survive the attempt and find a way back to a happy life.
