The Other Side

It can happen in an instant. Betrayal. Abuse. Grief. Trauma. The very thing you just know will kill you happens and you find yourself asking, “Am I going to make it?”
Erica Harms remembers the day she asked that same question with tears rolling down her cheeks. Sometimes the walk of faith is more of a limp. Or even a crawl. And when trauma strikes, forget even crawling. Just sitting still and trying to inhale and exhale is a victory.
