On the surface, the story is fairly simple. The Treetop, the Wind, and the Balloon is just about that. It is a story of the treetop, the wind, and the balloon as observed. Beneath that, the story unfolds to reveal excitement and color. The tree is a special tree, which stands tallest among other trees. Delving deeper, the story shows interaction and conclusion. Also, it opens the mind to wonder, thereby, expressing the different concepts of comparison and motion. Finally, the story exposes how despite the goings on with the wind and the balloon, the treetop stood alone.
