Phyllis’ Prophecy

Mary Ganoe’s life is falling apart. The recent death of her father, coupled with constant pressure from her dysfunctional family, drives her to the brink of a breakdown. Mary’s sole escape is found in her paintings—mainly seascapes near her Southern California home. That is, until her embrace of the occult turns her world upside down. Phyllis’ Prophecy follows Mary’s journey to regain control over her life, receiving help along the way from her insightful psychologist, her youngest daughter, and a feisty octogenarian soothsayer. Mary also receives crucial guidance from several mystic sources: a portrait of a seagull named Sunshine, her mystical cat named Ra, and haunting supernatural visions. Mary’s rocky journey is forever altered by the discovery of a handwritten manuscript penned decades ago by her deceased paternal grandmother, Phyllis. As Mary begins to transcribe her grandmother’s story about a young farm girl named Ginger, a series of events lead her to believe that Phyllis had accurately foretold Mary’s future.
